The structural analysis is typically a roof load letter, the SLD follows a standardized format, and most AHJs work from a checklist. Speed and accuracy matter most. Commercial solar

Commercial solar permit design is a different scope entirely. Systems above 100 kW typically require a full engineering package — stamped structural drawings, plus protection coordination analysis and arc flash documentation where required by the AHJ or utility, and in some cases a medium voltage design deliverable if the solar system interconnects above the service entrance. Multi-tenant buildings, carport structures, and ground-mounted arrays each introduce structural complexity that a residential permit template cannot address.

Before engineering review or AHJ submission, every planset undergoes a full accuracy and compliance check. Every dimension, code reference, electrical detail, and label is cross-verified across the entire set — catching the small inconsistencies that trigger revisions and resubmittals before they ever reach the building department.

Structural & Electrical Review

Where in scope, licensed structural and electrical PEs perform calculations, review the design, and issue PE sealed Structural and Electrical Engineering. Known AHJ interpretation issues are flagged and resolved proactively.
